Natural Gas Aggregation Program

May 17, 2013 - The rate for natural gas in the City's Aggregation Program has been set for June through September at $4.94.

The City's natural gas supplier is Interstate Gas Supply (IGS). The rate for May is $5.10 per MCF (thousand cubic feet), and the rate for June, July, August and September 2013 will be $4.94 per MCF. This price does not include County sales tax (7.75%), as well as Dominion's transportation costs and monthly customer charge. Residents can compare their total rate with Dominion's and other rates through the "Apples to Apples" calculation at the PUCO's website. Variable rates may be lower. Dominion's rate (which changes monthly) through June 12, 2013 is $4.75. Residents and businesses may enter or leave the City's Aggregation Program without having to pay a switching or cancellation fee to IGS. (Note other providers may charge a fee to switch to the City's Aggregation Program). The NOPEC rate for June through August is $5.79. 

Note: The City is a member of NOPEC for electricity, not natural gas.
