Lee Road Lane Closure
Start date: Thursday, March 17
Improvement Project: Dominion East Ohio gas line replacement
The northbound lane of Lee between Van Aken and South Park will be closed in phases beginning Thursday, March 17 through late July (weather permitting) to accommodate a gas line replacement by Dominion East Ohio.
Wednesday, April 17 - Aldersyde east of Lee will be closed at the intersection with Lee. The work is expected to take one week, weather permitting.
Monday, April 25 - The northbound lane closure has been extended to include a portion of the road just south of Shaker Blvd.
Tuesday, April 19 - The intersection of Lee and Parkland is now open to all traffic.
Saturday, April 16 - The intersection of Lee and Fernway will close to all eastbound and westbound traffic with the exception of emergency vehicles and school buses. The intersection will reopen at the end of each work day.
Monday, March 28 - An additional work zone was set up in the northbound lane of Lee between Parkland and South Woodland.
Thursday, March 17 - Northbound Lee from Van Aken to just beyond the police station is closed. The southbound lanes of Lee in this section are open for two-way traffic, one lane in each direction.
Drive carefully through the area and be aware of lane shifts, or avoid the area by following detour signs. Please continue to support the businesses in the Kingsbury Building—they are all OPEN during construction. Parking is available in front of them.
We recognize that this project will be disruptive and frustrating for motorists caught in slow traffic. We ask for your patience. Remember that we are all working toward the same thing: a beautiful, well-maintained city.
If you have questions about the project, please call Joe Horn or Mike Smith at H.M. Miller Construction Company, 330-628-4811.
