Spend summer days poolside at Thornton Park, enjoying the sun and cooling off in our 50-meter pool, splash zone, current channel, water slides, and tot pool. Season passes are available. The pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Prefer ice to water? Lace up your skates (or rent ours) and take a glide around the ice arena, open year-round. Skating lessons for all levels and ages and summer skating passes are available.
Other seasonal activities at Thornton Park include outdoor basketball, sand volleyball, tennis, batting cages and a skatepark.
The Recreation Department offers a variety of classes and camps to enrich bodies and minds throughout the year and during school breaks. Take advantage of a weekend class in the arts or enroll your child in one of our popular summer camps. Registration is first-come, first-served, so be sure to register early, as some classes fill quickly. Registration ends and classes close two business days prior to first day of class.
