Senior Programs
The Recreation Department offers a variety of classes, including fitness, foreign language, and more. The Department also holds luncheon and other social events for adults ages 50 and up.
Brown Bag Bingo - The Recreation Department will host a rousing round of bingo complete with prizes. Participants will need to bring a packed lunch; however coffee and dessert will be provided. There is no charge to participate.
Kings and Queens Game Day - There are numerous fun activities and games for our 50+ population to engage in at the STJ Community Building including Spades, Bid Whist, or Rummy, or Chess, Checkers, and Trivia. Sessions are ongoing and meet weekly and registration is required.
Open Pool/Billiards Game - Whether you're an expert or a beginner, come hang out, rack up the balls, and play. Sessions are ongoing and meet weekly.
Open Bridge - Enjoy a relaxing afternoon playing a timeless game. Sessions are ongoing and meet weekly. Reservations are not required. $1 donation is suggested.
Coffee, Cookies & Conversation - All are welcome to attend this monthly session featuring informative speakers and occasional entertainment. Coffee, tea, and a sweet treat are served. There is no charge to participate. Please call ahead for more information on the guest speaker.
Wednesday Movies - Pack a lunch and enjoy a classic or a newer release with friends. Coffee and dessert will be provided. Popcorn will be provided. There is no charge to participate.
Beautiful Boomer Fitness - This program concentrates on range of motion, strength development, endurance, and relaxation. Participants will receive practical tips for a healthier lifestyle and learn functional exercises and activities to promote stress management.
Fun with Fitness - Packed full of fun, this low-impact, cardio, conditioning workout is designed to work on strength, balance, and more. Wear comfortable aerobic shoes, and please bring hand held weights and an exercise resistance band.
Podiatry Care - General foot care services (diabetic, fungal nail care, and callus removal) available by appointment only. Residents and non-residents welcome. Please contact Andrea Jewett at 216-491-1351 for an appointment. Cost is $25, payable directly to physician.
