Shaker Makers

Shaker Makers is the City's annual show-and-tell-and-make-and-touch AND build-a-business event for artists, innovators, creators, engineers, and entrepreneurs of all ages. Each year, we gather together to celebrate the creativity of our community's makers and entrepreneurs.

The following are highlights from 2018:

  • Makers showcased their skills and maker experiences through specialized demonstrations and hands-on activities.
  • Two workshops were held for aspiring entrepreneurs, What's the Right Price? and From Crafter to Master.
  • Student entrepreneurs had the opportunity to pitch and sell their products in the Young Entrepreneur Market.
  • Interactive conversations provided networking opportunities for makers.
  • Rust Belt Riders, Cuyahoga Recycles, and the City's Department of Public Works helped make the event zero waste.
