[ARCHIVED] Storm Clean Up: Stay Out of Park at Lower Lake

City of Shaker Heights logo

Please be aware: Storm damaged trees and limbs are being removed by Shaker Heights Forestry Crews from Lower Lake along South Park Blvd. (between Coventry Rd. and Larchmere Blvd.) beginning Thursday, September 19.

For safety reasons, residents must stay out of the park for the next 10 days until the work is complete. Weakened trees and hanging limbs around the entire lake are a safety hazard. Shaker Heights Forestry Crews will be working with large machinery to remove damaged trees and large limbs, some of which are hanging in trees. Residents must stay out of the park and away from the work of the crews.

We will send out a notification when the work is complete.
