First Energy Line Clearance Work

(Updated February 4): Starting Monday, February 8, pruning operations will move to S. Woodland Rd. between Warrensville Center Rd. and Brighton Rd. Motorists may experience some delays. Estimated completion time is a week.

(Updated January 26): The contractor will be pruning trees on Warrensville Center Road between Fairmount Circle and Scottsdale Boulevard starting Monday, February 1. Work hours are 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Traffic will be narrowed to one lane in the work area. Estimated completion time is 10 business days.

(Posted December 21): A contractor (Asplundh) for First Energy will be performing electric line clearance work in several City neighborhoods this winter and spring. Line clearance involves pruning tree branches along power lines. The majority of the work is in residential back yards. The contractor will leave door hangers on residents’ doors informing them of the pending work.
