Masks Optional in City Buildings

On February 25, 2022, the CDC released a guidance regarding COVID-19, along with a community level metrics tool for its masking guidance. Because the CDC now reports Cuyahoga County is in the low community level, effective June 16, 2022, face masks are optional for employees and guests in City buildings.

 The CDC's recommended prevention steps for communities in the low level are as follows:

The City will continue its weekly testing policy for unvaccinated employees and board/commission members meeting in person.
