County Seeks Comments on Warrensville Center Bridge Project

Project area for County's rehabilitation project for the bridges on Warrensville Center Rd.

In 2023, Cuyahoga County and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will rehabilitate the City's two bridges on Warrensville Center Road. These bridges are over the Rapid tracks between the westbound and eastbound sides of Shaker Boulevard. The project will include a new bridge deck and roadway, traffic signal improvements, and a shared use path on the northbound side of Warrensville Center.

Cuyahoga County and ODOT are seeking public comment on this project. Residents who would would like to submit comments can email them to sdaneils@lawhon-assoc.com or mail them to: Warrensville Center Road Bridge Project Team, c/o Lawhon & Associates, 144 King Ave., Columbus, OH 43212.

Comments are due by September 3.

As construction nears, the City will provide detailed information for residents on the Construction Zone page on the City's website. Please note that throughout the project, traffic will be maintained in both directions on Warrensville Center Road and access to the fire station and Rapid station will remain open.
