Ashtanga Yoga allows you to challenge yourself, push your limits, develop strength, flexibility, endurance and self-confidence, while also experiencing calm, relaxation and clarity. Classes maintain poses for 5 breaths, are symmetric, warm up with Sun Sequences A and B, then standing and floor poses. Ashtanga yoga is a progressive practice. The class will teach participants the Primary Series. A yoga mat is recommended. Wear loose-fitting clothing.
